Couples and Marriage Counselor
You are tired of feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and dissatisfied in life and in relationships.
Conflict and disconnection are words that describe your painful relationships.
It feels like nobody understands and “gets” the depth of what you are experiencing.
You feel unappreciated, unimportant, unheard, and unloved.
Your life and relationship is not what you dreamed of and you feel stuck, hopeless, and isolated in your pain.
There is hope because you are not alone.
I’m Casey Lee. I’m a Couples and Marriage Counselor and Therapist.
As a fellow human being, I have also experienced the highs and lows of relationships with my parents, friends, and wife for the past 40+ years.
Through my personal journey and journeying with people the past 9 years in marriage counseling and therapy I have learned that:
It is in relationships that our heart is wounded,
and it is in relationships that our heart is healed.
Once you have your basic needs like safety, food, and shelter met, the quality of your emotional and relational connections is a matter of life and death.
You have an innate need for emotional contact and responsiveness from people that are important to you.
Whether you are 2 months old or 60 years old, your need for a secure emotional connection is vital for your well-being, it is food and medicine for your heart.
Disconnection from yourself and others can lead to feelings of depression and anxiety.
The more you are connected to how you truly feel, think, and act…
and the more someone else is responsive to how you feel, think and act…
the more you thrive in life.
I CAN HELP YOU
I know how big of a step it is to invest money, time, and energy for therapy. It can be scary to trust someone with the most important things in your life: your relationships and your emotions. I strive to provide exceptional value and quality of service because I care deeply about those who feel broken and hurt.
You want the best for your relationships. I get it. You would want to have the best person you can find to do your open heart surgery. Too much is at stake. It is a life or death matter and your relationships are not much different. Your heart, and the heart of the one whom you love, matters.
You want a couples and marriage counselor knows what they’re doing. Someone you can trust.
Most counselors agree that couples and marriage counseling is one of the hardest things to do well.
You deserve a competent counselor that gives you the best treatment available.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) is one of the most effective researched based way to treat couples and marriages in distress as it gets to the heart of what humans need: a close and safe connection where you can find support and comfort from each other.
Studies of couples receiving Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) show that 70 to 73% of couples reported recovery from relationship distress and 86% reported significant improvement and these positive results continued years after therapy ended.
I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist. I pursue trainings and consultations regularly to keep learning to ensure that you get the best possible treatment.
I have helped injuries in relationships heal and distant couples get connected: EFT works!
